Everyone is familiar with the magical influence of Instagram stories on the promotion of brands. Majority of the people check the Instagram stories before doing anything on their profile.
So, what’s so special about Instagram stories?
Instagram stories help the admins to generate authentic content that creates a strong bond between them and the audience. Apart from this, brands can also display behind the scenes photos and videos to guide the customers about the practical usage of the commodities and to acquire Instagram followers.
While Instagram stories have plenty of benefits, there are also some negative sides. One of the primary drawbacks of Instagram stories is the unavailability of the Swipe Up feature for the pages that do not have more than 10,000 followers. Indeed, many new features of Instagram cannot be utilized by the users having less than 10,000 followers.
It must be painful and agitating! Isn’t it? You spend months and years on building strong relationships, and still, you are not able to avail some of the fantastic features of Instagram!
However, you don’t have to worry because there is good news!
There is a way through which you can get the Swipe Up on Instagram stories even if you don’t have 10,000 followers. In this article, I am going to reveal two methods that can be used to get the Swipe Up feature despite having 10, 20, or 100 followers. So, read on and enjoy!
What is Swipe Up Feature?
Swipe Ups are links that can be added to the stories. Through SwipeUP feature, you can send the audience to other social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. SwipeUp feature is a real game-changer when it comes to boosting sales and driving traffic to your website. Once you add a link to your story, anyone watching the stories would be compelled to visit the provided link.
Availability of SwipeUp Feature
SwipeUp feature is only available to the business accounts having more than 10,000 followers. Instagram accounts that are verified can also get this feature even if they don’t have 10,000 followers. However, getting a verified Instagram account is not an easy task given that only celebrities have verified accounts.
Get SwipeUp without 10,000 Followers
There are thousands of brands out there that do not have 10,000 followers, and still, they are using the SwipeUp feature. On the other hand, sometimes people also buy followers just to boost their accounts and brands. Well, we can discuss this scenario later.
So, how do they do it?
They do it by utilizing the ways that I am going to mention here. Although there might be other ways, however, the tricks that I am going to discuss are personally experienced by me.
Method 1 – Use IGTV
Follow these steps if you don’t have a verified account or 10,000 followers:
- Create a video by using the IGTV and add a Link in the description.
- Now, you have to create an Instagram story. For doing this, go to your Feed and tap the Camera icon located at the Top-left corner.
- Create the Instagram story by capturing new content or uploading the existing content.
- Now, tap on the Chain Link icon and add Call to Action. The IGTV library will appear in front of you. Here, select the content that you want to feature.
Once you add the content to IGTV, you can post it on your Instagram stories to get the feature of SwipeUp.
Method2 – Sending a Direct Message
Here is another method to use the links in stories without having 10,000 followers:
- Create an Instagram story by adding a picture or video to it.
- Make sure to ask a simple question in the stories so that the audience could answer it in “Yes” or “No.”
- Check whosoever has responded with Yes. Now, send a direct message with the Link to all the people who have responded with Yes.
Make sure your message has everything that is required by the audience. Once the people see your message, they will undoubtedly visit the link that you have provided to them.
Instagram stories are proving remarkably efficient for businesses nowadays. You should also be using the other features of Instagram stories such as shopping tags, polls, and stickers to put an extra layer of attraction to your content.
